Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 September 2026
- Who we are
AvGeek Models is a family-run business based in the UK. Our full contact details are at the end of these terms.
These terms apply to every order you place through avgeekmodels.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to them. Our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy form part of these terms.
- Placing an order
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We accept your order, and a contract is formed, when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline an order before dispatch – for example if an item is unavailable, if we identify a pricing or description error, or if we cannot ship to your address – and if we do, we will refund any payment in full.
You must be 18 or over to buy from us. Our products contain small parts and are collectors' models, not toys.
- Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Shipping is free within the UK; international shipping is calculated at checkout. For orders delivered outside the UK, any import duties, customs charges or local taxes are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our prices.
Payment is taken in full at checkout through the payment methods shown on the site. We do our best to keep prices accurate, but if we discover a genuine pricing error on an item you have ordered we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
- Our products
3D-printed items. Our airport buildings, ground support equipment, aircraft and accessories are designed by us and printed to order in the UK. 3D printing produces small variations from item to item, and fine layer lines or minor surface marks may be visible on close inspection. These are characteristics of the process, not defects, and are not grounds for a return. Colours may vary slightly between batches and from the photographs on screen. Unless a listing says otherwise, items are supplied unpainted in the colour of the printing material.
Scale and compatibility. Scale is stated on every listing. Our 3D-printed items are designed to sit alongside the leading diecast aircraft ranges in the same scale, but we cannot guarantee a fit with every manufacturer's models.
Photographs. Where a listing shows our items alongside aircraft or other models, those other models are for illustration only and are not included unless the listing says so.
- Dispatch and delivery
Dispatch times are shown on each product page and in our Shipping Policy. Items printed to order take longer than items held in stock. Delivery times after dispatch depend on the carrier and destination and are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Please check your delivery address carefully; we cannot be responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address supplied by you.
If a parcel arrives damaged, or does not arrive at all, contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date and we will put it right.
- Cancellations and returns
Your legal right to cancel. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (or the equivalent EU rules). To cancel, contact us in writing within that period, then return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us. We will refund the price paid and the basic cost of delivery within 14 days of receiving the goods back. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty.
Our 30-day returns policy. In addition to your legal rights, we accept returns of any item within 30 days of delivery provided it is returned in the condition you received it. See our Refund Policy for how to do this.
Exceptions. Custom-built items made to your specification cannot be cancelled once production has started, and cannot be returned unless faulty. Gift cards are non-refundable.
Faulty goods. If an item is faulty or not as described, contact us as soon as possible. We will offer a replacement, repair or full refund and will cover the return postage. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Custom projects
Custom builds are quoted individually. A deposit or full payment may be required before work begins, and the details of the build, timescale and price will be agreed in writing (email counts) before we start. Once you have approved a design and production has begun, changes may incur additional cost. Custom items are subject to the same 3D-printing characteristics described in section 4.
- Intellectual property
The designs of our 3D-printed products, the photographs, text and other content on this website belong to AvGeek Models. Buying a model gives you the physical item only; it does not give you any right to copy, scan, reproduce or resell our designs, or to use our images or descriptions elsewhere. Airport, airline and manufacturer names are used only to identify the subject a model represents and remain the property of their respective owners.
- Our liability
We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, that were caused by something outside our control, or that relate to business use. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
- Events outside our control
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal strikes, carrier delays, severe weather or supplier problems. If such an event affects your order we will let you know and, if the delay is substantial, you may cancel for a full refund.
- Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
- Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your own country, and may bring proceedings there. If you have a complaint, please contact us first – we will always try to resolve it directly. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
